DECEMBER 15 2025 - We've been rocking hard here in our studio. Mary and I have been blazing and over on Mark King Radio we are experiencing listener growth, proving if you're patient and keep working at something, they will come. Thank you to everyone tuning in.
I've been busy selling excess items that are not needed in music creation. Reverb.com is alive and well. When your asking price gets near the predicted sale mark, bam, it's gone. Overall it looks like it costs the seller around 33% after the piece is gone. I can say after running a couple of music/pro audio stores, that is not bad overhead expense considering it includes shipping and insurance (safe shipping). Overhead on a brick and mortar store are so high, Reverb seems like a deal to me and can be magic if you have a 30 year old piece in great condition that people want.

DECEMBER 6 2025 - More important than ever, the INDEX page can take you to all the music, no need to scroll through the blog unless you want to. New music has hit Mark King Radio. The epic production "Sandwich Apocalypse 2025" has dropped with world class players, all doing NO MORE BREAD, you must listen to it to understand. Literally, on the tailgate of that album release comes Mark's powerful new Country Rock'n love song "More Than My Truck, My Dog and My Guitar", and finally the brand new 70's Hard Rocker, "Black Thorn Woman" <-whew stay away from her (this song is like a public service safety message for men).
NOVEMBER 18 2025 - YOU CAN CHANGE, an original song by Mary and Mark King is live on MARK KING VIDEO. This is a live streamed performance from our Imaginary Tajikistan World Tour. The original masters have all been lost but this YouTube video has a pretty solid stereo audio track. Hopefully it will give YOU some inspiration to create something beautiful.

NOVEMBER 6 2025- It is done, the all new MARK KING VIDEO companion site is up and running. You'll find lots of peaceful music combined with video of waterbirds. but that's not all. War of the Worlds is there and all of them will be joined by other works soon. Many of the original audio recordings were lost due to a massive tech failure so these videos are the only place to hear them.
NOVEMBER 4 2025- Hello Friends, "War of the Worlds", the music video is live and ready for viewing. It is hosted on YouTube and embedded here on Mark King Radio. I used Grok Imagine to create all the visuals for the music track I recorded back in 2003.

SEPTEMBER 22 2025- Promises, promises.... I've been very busy over at High on Technology with the headphone review series. What a journey that has been. I'm not a fan of headphones but if you gotta use them you want something nice, right? When I was younger I liked listening louder but now, I appreciate listening at quieter levels and I use headphones to verify what I think I'm hearing ;-)
Spotlight on Music Series (on HoT) will be featuring Neptune with an all new mix, new drums from across the country and new synthesizer hardware parts. It's been a fun journey to Neptune (the song) and you're invited along. Coming soon!
SEPTEMBER 9 2025- I've got a pile of gear to go through for High on Technology and that has been slowing my progress here on Mark King Radio. I do have more songs and many more videos with music accompaniment to post. Thanks for listening. Also trying to get a new mix of Neptune completed, there's a new back story for this song coming together.
Fall is in the evening air here in Florida. We're still getting a lot of daily rain but the evenings are a little cooler, down from 88 to 78 at night. With all the rain, humidity here is still very high. Hope the weather is good where you are. Good Music To You!
SEPTEMBER 1 2025- It makes me feel good seeing people listening to the songs on Mark King Radio. I'd rather give them away here for the world to listen to than sit around waiting to make a penny from Spotify or Apple. I hope something you hear will inspire YOU to go and create something beautiful.
We had a lot of rain here in Melbourne Florida during the month of August, 24.3 inches as measured on our old-school, glass tube, rain gauge. That is over double what is normal - the plants are happy, the bugs are happy, the chickens are sad, their play areas are a wet mess.
AUGUST 22 2025- Thank you for checking out the freshly created "MKR NEWS" page. This is it, post number one. You can really feel the excitement in the air, there's lightning and thunder..... oh wait, that's actually what's going on right now at the World Headquarters of Mark King Radio, located on the SpaceCoast of Florida.
